Green & Gold International
Exports was established in 1979. Initially, the company’s operations centered on
manufacturing and exporting various types of food items. Over the six years that
followed its conception, Green & Gold expanded to five different plant locations
within the Philippines-- employing 500 workers, and earning US$20 million in
revenues.
Opportunities in the agricultural sector prompted the company to engage in
distributing sugar in 1990. Rising prices and shortage of sugar supply prompted
the company to proactively take steps towards addressing the need in the market.
To date, Green and Gold International Exports has effectively established a
strong network of suppliers and distributors of sugar in the Philippines,
Malaysia, Korea, Thailand, and London.
In 1997, Green & Gold
diversified into distributing herbal medicines. Research efforts were undertaken
by the company to serve the fast growing health care needs of individuals. As
the company slowly built up its credibility in the area of alternative health,
Green and Gold International Exports was appointed the distributor for Tian
Xian (China No. 1) Anti-Cancer products. At present, it is engaged in
distributing a wide variety of products intended to help improve the quality of
life of people worldwide.
The vision to provide health
care solutions to individuals through natural and herbal products and food
supplements quickly spread throughout the company. This vision was coupled by
the fervent desire of Green and Gold International Exports to serve victims of
various types of diseases by offering them more affordable and more effective
ways of treating their health problems.
The company is currently
endeavoring towards expanding its research base so that it can educate the
public about health-related issues. It is also strengthening it’s partnerships
with reputable medical practitioners, manufacturers of natural and herbal
products, and independent distributors and sub-distributors in order to make
effective remedies more available to those who are in need of it.
